A little bit about us
The Jacobean Singers is a well established choir in Sydney, with over 20 years experience in singing choral music throughout the state.
The choir enjoys singing at secular events, such as weddings, ceremonies and public concerts, as well as in more formal church services, including evensongs and masses.
The choir was established 21 years ago by Walter Sutcliffe to share the beauty of sacred and secular choral music throughout our community, and the choir has thrived since its inception.
The choir is now directed by Lara Barazi-Clingan, and rehearses each Monday at 6:45 pm in the St Augustine's Church Hall, Eaton Street, Balmain.
Would-be choristers are welcome to contact us. We have a strong mentoring culture which is central to the enjoyment and success of the choir.
